It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve as President of this outstanding organization that serves the community of Edina and it’s neighbors with their golfing needs. I have been an active member of the BMC since 2005 and have enjoyed the camaraderie and friendship that evolves over the years with an organization such as ours.
The Braemar Men’s club hosts a variety of competitive leagues to suit every golfer, be you low handicap, high handicap, or beginner. We also hold four major stags that are competitive, rewarding, enjoyable, and the best bang for your golf buck in the twin city area.
My Goals for 2019 are:
To facilitate a smooth transition for our members back to play at Braemar after its being closed for two years for a major renovation
To improve the level of socialization between members by having more interaction between members within leagues and events.
To openly welcome and introduce new members and help them integrate into compatible groups
To work with Braemar golf course management to provide the best golf experience possible for our members.
We have a terrific Board of Directors and a host of volunteers that will be managing the various leagues and events this year, and we are committed to making the BMC a rewarding experience for all.
